Free Toy Cross-Stitch Patterns to use as decor in numerous ways for your child’s room
So how is quarantine treating you? Are you loving it, because you’ve never had so much time on your hands, are you starting to feel claustrophobic and need to get out of the house? Or are you like me, running around like crazy, trying to balance everything that’s been added to your plate? If you’re in the latter, my heart goes out to you. I don’t know when, but I do believe and trust that it will get better.
If you are in the first category and need something to keep yourself occupied with or if you are planning décor for a nursery or a toddler’s room, then this post is for you. Today I’m sharing toy-themed cross stitch patterns that you can use in numerous ways to add character to your décor. This will be a short and sweet post.
What you can make with the free toy-themed cross stitch patterns
I developed these cross-stitch patterns a couple of years ago and gave them as gifts to family members. Back then, I made vertical mobiles with five patterns sewn into felt circles.
You can use the cross-stitch patterns as I have done in felt circles or any shape you would like. I hand-sew them together using a blanket stitch and just add a ribbon or rope in between the felt layers. Add a bit of stuffing before sewing the last section and you are done.
You can make mobiles or door hangers. But you can also use these patterns in greeting cards or frame them as some cute wall art. Choose the colours to suit the room and just have fun creating these.
