It’s been quite a while since my last post, and a lot has happened. In my previous post, I mentioned that my family and I bought a new house. After three months of full-on renovation work, we finally moved in last summer. Since then, we have been busy with various DIY projects, from painting and installing new light fixtures to installing floors and building walls.
However, as much as we enjoy doing these projects ourselves, it sometimes feels like we’re not making progress fast enough. The cost of labour is pretty steep over here, so we will stick to DIY, though. We still have larger projects, like building closets and installing a half-bathroom in the primary bedroom, that we need to tackle. But with our busy family schedule, finding time for home renovations is challenging. I’m sure many of you can relate. That’s why I have learned the importance of having a project planner. It helps us stay on track, prioritise our tasks, and make the renovation journey more manageable.
